Enchanted Kingdom, often abbreviated EK. It is a theme park in the Philippines. It is located at San Lorenzo Rd, Santa Rosa, Laguna. It has a land area of 25 hectares. The park is managed and operated by Enchanted Kingdom Inc. and Enchanted Kingdom is a member of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions.
The Wheel of Faith
This is an old fashioned Ferris Wheel which lifts the riders over 130 feet into the air. There are 36 gondolas and each gondola can accommodate up to 6 riders. One gets a breathtaking view of the entire theme park and the surrounding areas of Laguna province from the top of the Wheel of Fate. Luckily, when we rode the Wheel of Faith, we are on top and we got a really nice view. The things is it is a bit scary as it move if you do not held into the round steel in the middle but still it is real great to be at.
The Flying Fiesta
It is a swing like ride where it will turn you around clockwise until you get dizzy. It is a perfect ride for you when all you want is to do is to think about constant things that’s happening to you. The guest will feel like flying as the rotation speed of the fifty-two swing seats increases while a wave motion is created by gradual lifts, drops, and tilts. This is also good for a parent and child bonding as they can seat together while riding.
The Ekstreme Tower
It is a tower with a height of 120 feet. This thrill ride gives guests a breathtaking view of the expanse surrounding Enchanted Kingdom. The EKstreme Tower takes the rider a minute to get to the top almost 40 meters high before suddenly dropping at 76 kph after hearing a clang of metals down. This ride will leave you screaming your lungs out for more or cussing as you almost have the feeling of leaving your soul behind as it was not within your body anymore.
The Jungle Log Jam
This is an exciting water ride that takes guests two times up a lift and down a slope before splashing into the water. The Jungle Log Jam gives the thrill of racing along a twisting river with up and down chutes, while seated in a dug-out log. There are seventeen (17) logs that can seat up to four (4) guests each. While riding a straight line is a bit boring as it don’t have trill but when you already into the first up that’s when your heart starts racing and after that there is another one that is 3 times higher than the first one. Just by seeing it after experiencing the first, you would want to get off that log as it scares you so much and you’ll say to the operator at peak “maybe we can take this slowly sir?” and baam! You’ll find yourself screaming your lungs out.
The Space Shuttle
The Space Shuttle is a steel roller coaster. Space Shuttle Max is a Vekoma Boomerang coaster. It has a single train with seven cars, with 2 rows per car and 2 seats per row. The train is capable of carrying a maximum of 28 passengers. This is the ride that I want to get on but no one wants to be with me so we end up not riding it.
The Rio Grande Rapids
Rushing over rough waters onboard a rubber raft is no tame experience. The Rio Grande Rapids is an exhilarating family (or group) ride that has guests constantly catching their breath while traversing raging white water. Each of the eleven (11) circular rafts can seat 8 riders for this awesome and refreshing water adventure. After ridin this for four times we got tired and cold as water splash on us so we proceed to our last ride.
The Disc-O Magic
We ride this disc-o magic for us to get dry after getting wet from the rio grande rapids. The Disk-O-Magic is a fun and breathtaking ride that takes its riders on a spinning and rocking adventure of motion. This state-of-the art ride from Italy has twenty-four motorcycle-like pedestal seats that maximize visual impact for onlookers and riders alike. It will spin you clockwise and counter clockwise all through ride. A really helpful motion to dry yourselves from getting wet.
Reflection
My travelogue is a blog where you want to go to and experience the different emotion you have while enjoying every bit of it. This makes me realized that there is a place you can go when you are on finding yourself or the soul searching part. These are only few of the rides that the Enchanted Kingdom has.
